About Nature Nest
Is Nature Nest open?
Not yet. Nature Nest Eco Farm is a proposed development in Nedunkulam, Vavuniya. The cottages, restaurant, farm and other facilities described on this website have not yet been built.
Where is Nature Nest?
In the Nedunkulam area of Vavuniya District, Northern Province, Sri Lanka. The exact location will be shared when the estate is ready to welcome visitors. See Discover Vavuniya.
Are the images real photographs?
No. All images of the estate on this website are artist’s impressions — AI-assisted concept visualisations prepared from our master plan. They show design intent, and the finished estate will differ. Real photographs will be added as work progresses.
How big is the site?
The current concept plan covers approximately 1.79 acres. The exact legal land extent is being confirmed.
Is Nature Nest a hotel or resort?
Neither, exactly. It is planned as a working agricultural estate with eco-cottages, a farm-to-table restaurant and farm experiences — “a living farm you can stay in” — with a wider mission to support surrounding communities.
Staying & visiting
Can I book a stay?
Not yet. We are not taking reservations. You can register your interest and we will let you know when there is news. Registering does not create a booking.
How much will it cost?
Prices have not been set.
When will Nature Nest open?
We have not set an opening date. We will share real progress on our development updates page.
Will day visitors be welcome?
That is our plan, for activities such as farm tours, meals and educational visits. Arrangements will be announced in future.
Can we hold an event or bring a group?
Events, retreats and group visits are possibilities we would like to explore once the estate is established. Register your interest.
Community programmes
Is Nature Nest a charity?
No. Nature Nest Eco Farm is not currently a registered charity, NGO or government-approved development organisation. Our community programmes are planned initiatives under the Nature Nest brand.
Can I donate?
Not at this stage. We are not accepting donations, payments or financial contributions. You can register your interest in supporting our community initiatives without any payment.
How can farmers get involved?
Farmers can join the farmer interest list. An email address is not required — phone or WhatsApp is fine.
How can buyers get involved?
Restaurants, hotels, retailers and other commercial buyers can register buyer interest. No buyer–supplier agreement is created by registering.
Does registering guarantee anything?
No. Registering interest does not guarantee participation, training, market access, sales, pricing, funding or any other outcome. It simply lets us keep you informed.
How will children be protected?
No activity involving children will begin until safeguarding, supervision, parental or guardian consent and child-data protection procedures are in place. Our public forms never ask for children’s information.
Will information be available in Tamil and Sinhala?
That is our intention, particularly for farmer and community information. Translations will be reviewed by fluent speakers before they are published.
